Atlanta – The State Board of Pardons and Paroles’ American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II policy is available.

In accordance with the requirements of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the State Board of Pardons and Paroles will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities.

The agency’s ADA Title II policy outlines policy and procedures for the Board’s compliance with the ADA of 1990 in its provision of services, programs, and activities.

The ADA is a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities and guarantees that they have the same opportunities as others in all areas of public life, including employment, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public including being able to participate in State and local government programs and services.
