2025 Governor's Public Safety Awards
The Georgia Parole Board supported the 2025 Governor's Public Safety Awards. Georgia Parole Board Members Robert Markley and Kim McCoy attended the ceremony, as did a number of the parole staff. Eight recipients were recognized. Three were recognized for "Outstanding Contribution to Profession," and five were recognized for "Acts of Heroism." Twenty-nine groups or individual representatives are involved in the selection of the recipients, including the State Board of Pardons and Paroles.
