“No More” Domestic Violence Awareness Lunch & Learn
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Violence Reduction partnered with the Mayor’s Offices of Film, Entertainment & Nightlife and Communications to host the “No More” Domestic Violence Awareness Lunch & Learn. Parole Board Director of Pre-Release Considerations, Crystal Moon, was invited to participate in a panel discussion of experts addressing the urgent issue of domestic violence and its impact on community safety. The discussion brought together advocates, law enforcement officials, mental health professionals, and survivors to explore comprehensive strategies for prevention, intervention, and support. Panelists highlighted the importance of early education, trauma-informed care, and collaboration across city agencies and community organizations to break cycles of abuse.
