Douglas Judicial Circuit Victim Impact Session

The Georgia Parole Board continues to engage crime victims ensuring they have a voice in the parole process. Parole Board Member Joyette Holmes listened to victims in Douglas County and the Georgia Office of Victim Services and the Board's Clemency Division recorded the information to ensure all five parole board members have the information when the offender is considered for parole. The Victim Impact Session allows a registered victim to speak directly to a parole board member. Holmes and staff were able to answer all questions the victims had regarding their individual cases as well as provide information to the victims about the parole decision making process.
