GPACS 2024 Summer Conference
Parole staff attended the 2024 Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision (GPACS) Training Conference in Savannah.
Georgia Parole Board Chairman David Herring attended the GPACS Conference.
"GPACS provided our parole professionals with another well planned training conference. In talking with our staff, they found the sessions to be informative and topical to their individual roles. The 'Women in Leadership' panel discussion was one of the best and provided insight to different leadership styles that will benefit all who attended," said Herring.
GPACS is a non-profit professional association representing community supervision in Georgia. GPACS membership is comprised of community supervision, parole, juvenile probation, misdemeanor probation, and corrections staff employed by the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles, Georgia Department of Corrections, county and private misdemeanor agencies who strive in their everyday duties to protect the citizens of the State of Georgia.
