GACDL Winter Seminar 2024
The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles is engaging and educating stakeholders and our communities about the parole process. Clemency staff engaged the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL) during their winter meeting, January 26, 2024. Executive Director of Parole Chris Barnett said the engagement would further enhance operations for the agency.
"Everyone is a stakeholder in the parole process. By engaging our stakeholders we ensure information is available to the board members as they consider cases. Stakeholders include law enforcement, victims, prosecutors, defense attorneys, offenders, and the public," said Barnett.
