Georgia House Public Safety Appropriations Subcommittee Meeting
Executive Director of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles Chris Barnett appeared before the Georgia House Public Safety Appropriations Subcommittee to address the agency's FY 2024 amended budget. "We certainly appreciate the time afforded us by the subcommittee and Chairman Hitchens. We know they'll thoroughly consider our amended budget request as the Parole Board continues to work to improve our operations and enhance public safety," stated Barnett. Appearing alongside Barnett was Chief Financial Officer Kristen Kinney. Deputy Executive Director Rita Rocker and Clemency Director Crystal Moon also attended the hearing.
