State Board of Pardons and Paroles Training
To continue being an effective and efficient agency, staff training is essential. Board Members and staff attended several training sessions in October featuring presentations from some of parole’s stakeholders and criminal justice partners. The training included sessions by the Georgia Department of Corrections, the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, the Georgia Gang Investigators Association, and the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
