Georgia Department of Corrections' Fleet Automotive Maintenance Academy and I-CAR Paint & Body Program Graduation
The Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles engaged with stakeholders and our criminal justice partners. We congratulate and support the thirteen (13) graduates from the Georgia Department of Corrections' Fleet Automotive Maintenance Academy and the six (6) graduates from the I-CAR Paint & Body program.
"The Parole Board is happy to support these individuals and their accomplishments. These are offenders who have applied themselves and now have a usable skill that they can apply to making their lives better and that of their families. The Georgia Department of Corrections is providing programming for offenders and our agency is proud to be their partner increasing opportunities for successful reentry. Once these offenders return to their communities, they will be contributors and their chances at success will have increased dramatically," said Barnett.
