Governor Brian Kemp Swearing-in Timothy Ward
Timothy Ward was sworn-in on March 3, 2023, as a member of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles by Governor Brian Kemp. Georgia Parole Board Members and State Board of Pardons and Paroles' staff attended in support of Ward. Ward was the commissioner of the Georgia Department of Corrections before his appointment to the Board by Governor Brian Kemp. Ward replaced Brian Owens who retired from state service after his board term ended on December 31, 2022.
