Georgia Anti-Gang Network Meeting September 2022
The State Board of Pardons and Paroles attended the Georgia Anti-Gang Network meeting in Cherokee County. The meeting of local, state, and federal agencies was focused on eliminating gang violence in Georgia. Executive Director of Parole Chris Barnett represented the Board. "The partnership is critical to having safe communities in Georgia. The information we share across the network enables law enforcement to combat these gangs, and the Board Members incorporate the information we receive into the parole decisions resulting in a safer Georgia to live, work and raise families," stated Barnett.
