The State Board of Pardons and Paroles engaged stakeholders at the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police 2022 Summer Conference in Savannah, Georgia. Executive Director of the Parole Board Chris Barnett spoke to the chiefs at the conference. "Georgia police agencies are critical criminal justice partners of the Parole Board. Effective communications with our chiefs provide opportunities for the Board to enhance public safety through informed decision-making," stated Barnett. Governor Brian Kemp and Attorney General Chris Carr were among elected officials who spoke to police chiefs. Nearly 700 law enforcement officials attended the conference in Savannah.
