2022 GPACS Mid-Winter Training Conference
The Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision (GPACS) held its mid-winter training conference in Pine Mountain at Callaway Resort & Gardens. The Parole Board, Department of Community Supervision, and the Department of Corrections are sponsors of GPACS. Staff, including board members, attended the training. "As Vice-Chair of the Parole Board, I encourage our staff to take advantage of training opportunities whenever possible. One of the tremendous benefits of GPACS includes exceptional training. The presenters at the conference were stellar. They covered 'professional development nuts and bolts topics' from self-care to honing leadership skills," stated Jacqueline Bunn.
