June 2021 Board Meeting
Division staff addressed the Parole Board Members at the June 2021 monthly meeting of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles. Updates regarding operations for Clemency, Field Services, and Victim Services were provided by staff from each division.
Terry E. Barnard was elected the Chairman of Georgia’s Parole Board by his colleagues on the State Board of Pardons and Paroles. He will be the third longest-serving chair in Board history. Board Member Jacqueline Bunn was elected to serve as Vice Chairman. The monthly meetings do not include parole case reviews or decisions. Board Members make parole decisions electronically daily.
