Parole Leadership Supports GED Graduation at Rogers State Prison

The State Board of Pardons and Paroles supported GED graduates at the Georgia Department of Corrections' Rogers State Prison in Reidsville in early May. Director of Clemency for the Parole Board Rick Jacobs was commencement speaker. Jacobs urged the graduates to continue to improve themselves. Offenders completing classes and programs and eliminating conduct issues are important factors the Board considers when deciding whether an offender can be paroled.
