Engaging Offenders - Long State Prison, Rogers State Prison, the Women's Detention Center and the Smith Transitional Center

Engaging offenders is a part of the parole decision-making process. Parole Board Members and staff from the Pre-Release Considerations Division, Post-Release Considerations Division, and the Investigations Division are among the staff who are engaging offenders. In early August, staff, including Board Members Wayne Bennett and Robert Markley, toured Georgia Department of Corrections facilities including Long Unit State Prison, Rogers State Prison, the Women's Detention Center, and the Smith Transitional Center, in Claxton.
