Walker State Prison Commencement Ceremony
Parole Board Vice Chair Joyette Holmes attended the 2025 Academic Education Commencement Ceremony at Walker State Prison, where twenty graduates were recognized for reaching significant educational milestones. During her visit, Holmes met with Walker State Prison leadership to learn more about the facility’s faith-based mission and engaged directly with offenders, hearing firsthand how the program has positively influenced their lives and shaped their future goals.
