State Board of Pardons and Paroles Recruitment and Career Fair

As a part of having the monthly board meeting on the University of North Georgia campus in Dahlonega, we invited students to a career and recruitment fair. Joining the State Board of Pardons and Paroles and the Georgia Office of Victim Services to showcase state career paths were several agencies including the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, and the Georgia Department of Corrections. The Georgia Parole Board's Human Resources Director Eris McKennon asked a representative from each agency to speak to the students. "The turnout was great! Many students visited each table to discuss possibilities after they graduate, but also increasing opportunities for internships, including paid internships which we offer," McKennon said.
