Georgia Commission on Family Violence Conference Workshops

Georgia Parole staff engaged advocates, providers and attendees at the 30th Annual Georgia Commission on Family Violence Conference in Athens, Georgia. The Georgia Office of Victim Services conducted a workshop presentation exploring how victimization evolves with technology. The session provided information about how technology can result in family violence and how to detect it and intervene effectively.

Clemency Director Crystal Moon was a panelist in a workshop discussing issues involving survivors of domestic violence who are arrested, convicted, serve long sentences, and face barriers to a prison release. The workshop addressed programs to serve criminalized survivors, statistical and historical information, and possible solutions.
