Parole Training for District 8 of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police
The Georgia Parole Board is engaging stakeholders, educating communities, encouraging active participation in the parole process, and enhancing agency operations. Clemency, Field Services, and Victim Services staff for the State Board of Pardons and Paroles provided training to District 8 of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police at the Hiram Police Department. The training covered the parole decision-making process, pardons, parole compliance, and services provided to registered crime victims. By partnering with law enforcement, the Board seeks to ensure all available information is accessible in order for the Board to make the best release decisions.
