August 2020 Parole Board Meeting
The August 2020 monthly meeting of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles was conducted August 25th. The highlights of the meeting included a former offender, Chris Sheffield, speaking to the Board and afterward he was surprised as Chairman Barnard presented him with a pardon. The pardon had been approved earlier, however Sheffield was unaware he had been granted it. Retiring Clemency Director Rick Jacobs was also recognized at the meeting for his years of service.
