August monthly meeting of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles is scheduled for August 25, 2020

PUBLIC NOTICE
OPEN MEETING

Pursuant to the terms of O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1, notice is hereby given to the public that the monthly meeting of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.  The meeting will be held in the Board’s Fifth Floor Hearing Room at 2 Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive, Atlanta, Georgia 30334.  

In order to comply with the terms of Governor Kemp’s Executive Order mandating social distancing to help mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus and maintain public safety, seating for the Board meeting will be extremely limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Attendees must wear self-provided facemasks and submit to contactless temperature checks.  

In lieu of in-person attendance, members of the public may attend the meeting via teleconference by calling 888-363-4734 (enter access code 8283341 when prompted).   

Please note that offender cases are not discussed or considered during monthly Board meetings.
