Served as staff attorney for the U. S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; served as General Counsel and Executive Vice-President for the Fellowship of International Churches, in Atlanta; served as Vice President of the Association of Paroling Authorities International (APAI); Chairman of the Constitution and By-Laws Committee; recipient of the APAI Ben Baer Award for outstanding work nationally in the Field of Parole; and was appointed as a member of the Governor’s Commission on Family Violence. In May of 2010, he was appointed to serve as the Commissioner of Juvenile Justice by Governor Sonny Perdue. He is an ordained minister and co-pastor of The Father’s House.
