September 16, 2013, the State Board of Pardons and Paroles attended the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Refuge of Hope's new multi-purpose building and chapel. Refuge of Hope is a transitional facility providing services for offenders leaving prison including parolees and is located in Quitman, Georgia.
