Salem School Visits
The Georgia Parole Board's Clemency Division and Human Resources Office engaged the local community, with some staff attending the Salem High School Career Fair and the Salem Middle School College and Career Week. The events allowed students to explore various professions and learn about different career paths, involving professionals from diverse fields who shared insights about their work, educational backgrounds, and experiences. Parole Board staff spoke to students in both middle school and high school about what parole entails in Georgia and the daily responsibilities of staff. They also highlighted how the Parole Board offers many opportunities for a variety of job skills, not just in law enforcement.
