Liberty Middle School Career Week

It's never too early to engage our communities and our young citizens. Georgia parole staff participated in the Liberty Middle School Career Week. Liberty Middle School Counselor Lakesha Grooms said, "It's important that our youth are exposed to law enforcement in a positive way. The focus is to encourage and provide awareness of multiple careers within the criminal justice field. The parole staff were professional, and they kept our students engaged through their presentations." Counselor Grooms shared with the Parole Board's Human Resources Director, Eris McKennon, how important it is to expose middle school-aged students to diverse opportunities in law enforcement. "It's never too early to engage our youth and our hopes for tomorrow," stated Eris McKennon, the Parole Board's Human Resources Director.
