September 2023 Board Meeting
The Georgia Parole Board conducted its monthly operational meeting on September 7th. Presentations to the Board included an update on this year's State Charitable Contributions Program by Human Resources Director Eris McKennon and comments from Keir Chapple, the Deputy Director of the Georgia Office of Victim Services.
Executive Director Chris Barnett delivered an operations report to the Board. Barnett stated to the Board, "Your operational team remains strong and committed to the Board's mission and its three pillars; ensuring public safety, protecting victims' rights, and providing opportunities for positive change."
