Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia Training at Jekyll Island
The Parole Board attended the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia (PAC) training at Jekyll Island. Parole leadership including Executive Director Chris Barnett spoke to the District Attorneys' Association of Georgia and PAC. Exec. Director Barnett said engaging Georgia's prosecutors is essential to public safety. "An informed Parole Board relies on case information from our district attorneys. We believe PAC is a valued public safety partner for the Georgia Parole Board. State Parole Board's should be engaging the state's prosecutors," said Barnett. Executive Director Barnett, Clemency Director Crystal Moon, Field Services Director Felecia Holloway, and Communications Director Steve Hayes met with the district attorneys. Parole leadership spoke to the group about recent clemency guidelines' revisions, parole compliance, victim services, and stakeholder engagement.
