Training Meeting at the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association
The Georgia Sheriffs’ Association in Madison hosted the State Board of Pardons and Paroles for a training meeting. Applied Research Services, Inc. (ARS) and the Center for Effective Public Policy joined parole Board Members, parole staff, and staff from the Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS) for discussions surrounding successful reentry. DCS updated the Board on various programs the department operates to facilitate the successful reentry of offenders.
