Georgia Sheriffs' Association Conference at Lake Lanier Islands

Parole Board leadership attended the Georgia Sheriffs' Association Conference at Lake Lanier Islands. Executive Director of Parole Chris Barnett spoke to the sheriffs at the conference. "We will continue to engage, educate and encourage active participation of our stakeholders and criminal justice partners. This communication helps to strengthen our agency operations and results in enhanced public safety," stated Barnett. Barnett says the connection between parole and sheriffs is key to public safety. "Only by working together can we ensure Georgia remains the number one State to live, work and raise a family."
