June 2022 Board Meeting
During the June monthly operational meeting the State Board of Pardons and Paroles elected Terry Barnard as Chair, and Jacqueline Bunn was elected Vice-Chair for the 2023 fiscal year. “I continue to be humbled by the trust and confidence the members place in my leadership,” said Chairman Barnard. Barnard will serve an 8th term as chair. Bunn will serve a second year as vice chair. The Board's June monthly operational meeting took place at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC). “The focus of these monthly meetings is enhancing operations which results in improved public safety,” said Exec. Director of Parole Chris Barnett. The meeting included an update from the Georgia Office of Victim Services about the recent successful training conference for victim advocates. Afterward, the Executive Director of GPSTC, C.G. Wigginton, held a meeting where he explained to the Board the different training services GPSTC provides to law enforcement across Georgia.
