Parole Board Member Jacqueline Bunn was sworn-in as a member of the Georgia Commission on Family Violence by Governor Deal in August. The commission works to educate and raise awareness about family violence in Georgia. The commission also evaluates services, researches the need for additional services and offers and monitors proposed legislation concerning family violence. "It is a tremendous honor to serve on a commission that does such important work for the citizens of Georgia. Domestic violence impacts every region of this state, every age, and every socioeconomic level. I am excited to contribute my efforts to make our state safer for the most vulnerable,” said Bunn.
