Council of Superior Court Judges Annual Conference
The State Board of Pardons and Paroles is engaging Georgia's Superior Court judges. Parole Board Member Wayne Bennett, Board Member Terry Barnard, and Parole Board Executive Director Chris Barnett attended the Council of Superior Court Judges Annual Conference on Jekyll Island. Board Members were able to share more information about the State Board of Pardons and Paroles with the judges and meet new judges. Executive Director Chris Barnett discussed the board's operations with many of the judges.
"Our judges are one of many criminal justice partners and important stakeholders in the parole process. It was good to be able to connect with them and strengthen the professional relationship that exists involving our Board and the state's judges," said Georgia Parole Board Member Wayne Bennett.
