Jacqueline Bunn was appointed to the Parole Board by Governor Nathan Deal in July 2016 and reappointed for a full seven-year term in December 2016. She began her career as an Assistant Attorney General in 1997 and worked on cases involving the Georgia Department of Corrections and the State Board of Pardons and Paroles, including cases that reached the United States Supreme Court. From 2006 to 2013, she was deputy director of legal services for the Georgia Department of Public Safety.  In 2013, she became the Executive Director of the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and she served as the Chair of the Victims Compensation Board. Bunn received an appointment to the Georgia Commission on Family Violence in August 2018. Ms. Bunn is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Georgia and New Jersey.
