On August 20, 2015, the State Board of Pardons and Paroles partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry to distribute food to those in need. The distribution was conducted at the West Hunter Street Baptist Church. The Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) works hand-in-hand with its nonprofit partner agencies to host Mobile Food Pantries in under-served communities by sending truckloads of food to be distributed to those in need. The Southwest Ecumenical Emergency Assistance Center (SWEEAC) is a nonprofit partner of the ACFB assisting with this Mobile Food Pantry. Twice a month, volunteers are needed to help set up the distribution area by unpacking and organizing food to be distributed, then bagging or boxing up food for the recipients. Parole employees through the Board's community outreach effort were among dozens of volunteers assisting in the Mobile Food Pantry. http://pap.georgia.gov/press-releases/2015-08-20/parole-family-assists-…
