"Convoy of Care" assisted Hurricane Florence victims in September. For two days Atlanta residents dropped off supplies for victims. Two convoys pulled out of "Caring for Others" in Atlanta and headed to the storm and flood ravaged states of North and South Carolina. The State Board of Pardons and Paroles partnered with the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, the Georgia Sheriff's Association, NOBLE (National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives), Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia State Patrol and other state law enforcement agencies along with WSB TV, the nonprofit, Caring for Others, Georgia Motor Trucking Association and Atlanta Peach Movers to sponsor the 'Convoy of Care'.
